I'm a Wash U undergraduate student who recently moved into my first apartment, and this blog is to document my adventures with cooking. I'm a flexitarian, which in my case means I have a mostly vegetarian diet, though occasionally I do eat poultry. So, nothing on this site will have sea food or red meat in it. I'll be posting mostly about my own cooking experiences, but also about other great food I eat in St. Louis.

Fruit and Honey Trail Mix
I wanted a study snack yesterday so this is what I made. It's a trail mix with banana chips, dark chocolate covered acai and blueberries, and honey roasted almonds. It was wonderfully yummy. The almonds added crunch and the sweetness of the banana and berries melded with the honey really well. For some reason it reminded me of a little kid breakfast. Bananas and boobalaries (which is apparently what I called them when I was little), so yummy. It was a nice comforting treat, and helped me keep my energy up during a long day of finals studying.
If you're curious about more of my trail mixes I did a post last month with more details.
